My sources are actually talking about an advanced, radical design which also incorporates a radical new feature set.
It's called the iOmni, and it's really cool.
It comes in solid brass with a mirror polish finish.
Here's some descriptive photos that were smuggled out of a highly-classified location which, apparently for reasons of national security, are not at the 1 Infinite Loop campus location.
http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/3461/iomni01ei5.png
In this first image, you can see the iOmni in it's closed mode. Unfortunately due to the angles of the images, you cannot really see it, but there is a pair of standard 1/8th inch headphone jacks at the top of the device, one on either "bump". It would seem that some people have been taking the "stick it in her ear" comment a little bit too literally, and due to complaints, Apple has now built in a second headphone jack to allow both parties to listen to the music in full, clear stereo.
Moving on...
http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/4773/iomni02od0.png http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/4996/iomni03qe6.png
As you can see in this first image, Apple's famous electro-static click wheel remains a central part of the design. I'll come to the set of rings it's set into in just a moment, but one of the things I'd like to draw your attention to are the two colored lights, one red and one green, at the top of the device. Nobody my contact has spoken with seems to know exactly what they're for, but there has been some speculation about them being part of the power meter system.
However, it's the concentric rings which are of very great interest, since they seem to contain a sequence of date codes, from days to weeks, and then down through centuries. According to several unconfirmed reports, it seems the device rumored to be able to let you listen to any song, at any point in time in Earth's history. Now, if true, of course this would suggest a considerable scientific breakthrough in temporal physics and acoustic detection. Whether it transports the user, the performer, or just the music itself is as yet unknown.
There have been rumors around the Apple campus that Steve has gone missing once or twice when visiting the off-campus facility, but these have been largely discounted by most of the people my source has spoken with.
My source said there was no LCD mounted to the unit pictured above, but there did seem to be some extraneous connectors in between the two lights, though what their purpose is remains unknown.
Isn't this exciting news, folks? You've heard it here first.

I want retribution, so do most americans.Yes, it's one of your less appealing traits.
And please define "destroyed", those countries were radical muslim wastelands and iraq had an evil dictator. They were pretty much destroyed as it is. Just like dirty trash bins attract flies and rats, those countries attract terrorists.Which terrorists were you referring to in Iraq?Your solution to just leave the middle east alone is counterproductive, ignoring bullies never worked. Your country tried that with hitler, how did that work out for you?I can't believe you are being this crass. Your last President's grandfather was trading with Hitler for three years while Britain was engaged in a life-or-death struggle. Your country has installed bullies in several governments. How did that work out for you?
As for enhanced interrogation, go for it. Skunk, i know you want the best for the world and im sure you're good intentioned, but many of your views are simply unrealistic. The world isn't that rosey. The world isn't going to get any rosier until you raise the bar.

I am not a webdesigner so could someone explain the TEXTAREA upgrade? It sounded like a good idea when I read it, but it seems to have struck a nerve with a couple people, and I'm not sure why. I'm guessing it would be like if I went to an art auction and bought a painting by Monet, I bring the painting home and realize that the wallspace I have for it isn't wide enough, so I grab a corner of the painting a pull it down, hence making it skinnier and fitting my wall? Nobody would ever consider doing that to a Monet, yet isn't this what the new TEXTAREA feature does?

 you've got to be joking right now. it's not supposed to be cushy, it's supposed to be horrible, and it's supposed to last until the day they die if they don't get the death penalty. before we were talking about life in prison without parole versus the death penalty, and now you're saying that someone who is currently death penalty worthy in the states should be put in prison for 16 years and thats sufficient? Let's be clear because i don't want to accuse you of implying something you're not. Is this or is this not what you are saying?
I am saying that the present UK tariff of 16 years minimum provides adequate protection for the public, and is not an attractive alternative to liberty.

I wouldn't mind a 2gb shuffle so I don't have to sync as often.
Wait a year, and you will probably see a 2GB Shuffle with some sort of playlist feature.

No surprises here, the majority of people are waiting for the next iPhone.
Do you think that the majority of the people know that the next iPhone is coming soon? Do you think they are up to date on Apple's release cycle?

I will say something about SPRINT. First off, that article is WRONG!
Baltimore, Maryland is the 1st SPRINT test market for 4G, but it's not even mentioned in that article! I know so because SPRINT is actively advertising it and it's been in other press reports. So how many other test markets did they miss in their alleged comparison of 4G vs. 3G I wonder?
Um, all of them, I guess. That test was carried out locally, since the local city, at that time, provided "4G" from the 3 tested providers. I'm not sure why that would be a problem for you. The only issue I have with it is that Tmob is not tested to cover all 4 national providers, perhaps that wasn't up and running in Detroit at the time. Maybe you'll like this?: http://www.rootmetrics.com/pr/reports/2011/20110320_Seattle_4G_Study.pdf
So, what magical speed does Sprint offer in Baltimore? Considering that they only claim maximum 6Mbps speed for their "4G" network, and that was achieved in the test, you shouldn't have any problem with it.
"4G" is the problem. As marketed:
Sprint (http://shop2.sprint.com/en/shop/why_sprint/4g/evo_plan_details.html): up to 6Mbps
AT&T (http://www.wireless.att.com/answer-center/main.jsp?t=solutionTab&ft=&ps=solutionPanels&locale=en_US&_dyncharset=UTF-8&solutionId=KB115947): up to 6Mbps
Tmob (http://t-mobile-coverage.t-mobile.com/4g-wireless-technology): up to 21Mbps (however, I never see test reports breaking 8Mbps)
VZW (http://network4g.verizonwireless.com/#/whatis4g): up to 12Mbps (but test reports show higher speeds)
Do you see anything amiss in the use of the same word for all that?

I found a perfect little free Java app. It's called Mix2Stix (http://software.azett.com/index.php?cat=Mix2Stix)
It has a simple, easy to use interface and works on any platform (Windows, Linux, Mac...), with any storage device, and any file type. What more could you want?

The preconceptions that lead you to reject it are not the same as it "not working."
You mean the preconception that a business suit is normal attire and has no logical comparison with the topic at hand? Yep.

Best sit in arcade game ever !!!!
I must admit that the sit-in version did give that in-the-X-Wing-cockpit feeling. My favorite sit-in, though, was Omega Race.
By the way, InuNacho, yes, the original sounds for Yar's Revenge left a lot to be desired. However, Yar's Revenge was IMHO the best original (i.e. not adapted from an arcade version) Atari 2600 sci-fi game in terms of gameplay.
...Debate, anyone?
